Yoga for Every Body with Kathy Grenda

In this special workshop with visiting instructor Kathy Grenda, students will complete a simple self assessment to determine their flexibility, strength and range of motion. Imbalances in the body will be noted throughout the assessment process.

After an assessment, props will be used as both resistance and assistance tools making yoga more accessible for all bodies.

This workshop will wrap up with a beginner sequence and recommendations for props and appropriate modifications to meet their individual needs for future classes at any studio. Perfect for the beginner or someone looking to learn more about the use of props to make your yoga experience more comfortable.

Instructor Bio

Kathy has been teaching yoga at the Del Webb Wellness Center in Kingman, Arizona since 2003. She teaches beginner, multilevel and chair yoga classes in addition to an aquatic arthritis class. Kathy also teaches private and semi private lessons to clients at ABC Yoga in Kingman. She is registered with Yoga Alliance having completed her 200 level course work at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. Additional training was completed at Shoshoni Yoga Ashram in Rollinsville, Colorado and at All About Yoga in Henderson, Nevada.

Born and raised in Ashland, Kathy continues to visit the area several times a year to enjoy family, friends and the beauty of the Chequamegon Bay area.
